With nearly 20 years of experience in community, employment, advocacy, and support-based roles, Donna Sheppard has spent her career helping individuals navigate barriers, rebuild confidence, access opportunities, and move forward through some of life’s most challenging transitions.

Throughout her career, she has supported youth, single parents, seniors, individuals with disabilities, neurodiverse individuals, low-income families, and individuals navigating complex employment or life barriers.

 

Donna’s approach is shaped not only by professional experience, but also by lived experience. As a former single parent who once participated in an employment support program herself before later spending years helping others through similar programs and services, she understands firsthand the importance of feeling supported, encouraged, and genuinely seen.

 

Her work has included employment counseling, advocacy, caregiver and system navigation support, community outreach, group facilitation, and helping individuals reconnect with their strengths, confidence, and potential.
